Hi! I'm Rachael, the owner and grower behind Haven Homestead & Flower Farm.

Haven Flower Farm is a small, family-run cut flower farm nestled in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Madison, Virginia. After my husband's Army career brought our family to new places, we knew we wanted to put down roots somewhere we could build a life close to the land. We found that home here in Madison, where we're raising our two children and growing flowers for our community.

By profession, I'm a veterinarian, and caring for living things has shaped the way I approach farming. Flower farming has become a natural extension of the work I already loved—cultivating something with patience, intention, and respect.

Every stem we sell is grown right here on our farm. Our children are often nearby exploring the flower rows, watching butterflies, or eagerly helping with harvest. We believe flowers should reflect the seasons, support local businesses, and bring a little more beauty into everyday life. Whether we're harvesting spring snapdragons, colorful summer zinnias, or gathering fresh greenery for local florists, our goal is always the same: to provide exceptional flowers picked at their peak.

Haven Flower Farm is still in its first season, and we're excited to learn, grow, and build lasting relationships with local florists, designers, and flower lovers throughout Central Virginia.
